6 DAYS CLIMBING KILIMANJARO – MARANGU ROUTE
The Marangu Route, also known as the “Coca-Cola Route” or “Tourist Route” is the most popular and considered the easiest path on Mount Kilimanjaro, featuring a gradual and steady ascent. This route is unique as it offers sleeping huts with beverages along the way, making it less demanding physically but often crowded. The trek starts at the Marangu Gate and progresses through lush rainforests to the upper reaches of the mountain, providing views of the Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.
Climbers traverse varied habitats, from tropical rainforests to alpine deserts, with overnight stays in comfortable huts, which offer protection against the weather—ideal for those preferring not to camp in tents. The journey culminates in a challenging final push to Uhuru Peak at 5,895 meters, followed by a descent via the same route.
Preparation and Fitness: The Marangu Route requires moderate physical fitness, with daily treks between four to eight hours. The route’s steady climb is suitable for those without prior high-altitude experience but being in good health and pre-trek training are recommended.

What’s included :
- Experienced guides and a full support crew, including porters and a cook.
- Accommodation in huts with meals and basic amenities.
- All park entrance fees and transfers, including airport transfers.
Additional Tips :
- Keep a comfortable pace to adjust to the altitude and stay hydrated.
